Last weekend we were honored to host the 6th Annual Blind Wine Tasting benefiting Jay’s HOPE at Signature Salon. The Jay’s HOPE Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality-of-life of children with cancer and their families in Georgia by extending HOPE through social, emotional, spiritual, educational and financial support. This local organization is a wonderful group of people who do awesome work for deserving families and we are honored to work alongside them!
At the event, teams brought their favorite red or white wines whose labels are hidden from tasters. Each wine is tasted and the attendees get to vote for their favorite red and white. At this year’s event, we raised $14,000 for Jay’s HOPE! Anderson’s Catering catered the delicious food under a cozy tent from Macon Tent Rentals. Guests were entertained by the very talented Maggie Renfroe while enjoying the evening. The winning team for best team name was The Dastardly Drunkards. The winning red wine was the Roscato Sweet Red brought by the Four Queens and the winning white wine was the Rosatello Moscato brought by the Wine No Worries! The winning teams got to take home extra bottles of each wine brought to the event.
Thank you to all our participants for joining us in supporting such a great cause. If you missed this event, be on the lookout for next year’s date!
