Meet Ciara Cook

Do you want to have an inside scoop of your hairstylist and what it is like working for B. Monroe Salon? Look no further! Over the next few months, we will be diving into our team members’ lives, passions, and history at B. Monroe Salon.

Our next stylist tell-all was with our stylist, Ciara Cook. Ciara is from Juliette, Georgia and she has been with B. Monroe Salon for two years. She currently works at our Macon salon as our Kerastase Salon Ambassador and stylist. Ciara loves all things hair and putting her own twist and style to each client’s hair, but what influenced her on how she approaches her work?

“I was influenced the most in my career and my work by my educator Erin Hunt. She taught me everything I know, and as for career-based influence, it would be by Rachel Bunn, our salon President. She influences us to make the best of the best, even if we’re having a bad day, it’s going to be okay, and she’s like our own little cheerleader.”

Ciara plays a huge role in our salon and has had many great accomplishments in her time with us, but in our interview, we wanted to know what work-related accomplishment she is most proud of.

“A work-related accomplishment I’m really proud of is my first color correction. I had been on the floor for about a month and with the help of my teammates, I was not stressed and it just went great!”

Ciara is lucky to come from a family of hairstylists, so as you can imagine, she is given lots of advice. She says “The best advice I have ever received was from my grandma, who is also a hairstylist, and it was to wear comfortable good shoes.”

Ciara is a fantastic part of our growing team, and we know she will continue to do an exceptional job as a stylist for B. Monroe. We cannot wait to see what all Ciara does in the future.
