My favorite part of my career is being able to lead my team with an open mind, a grateful heart, and the ability to do hard/challenging things. I absolutely love being a part of the team at B. Monroe serving not only our employees, but our guests as well!

Hi I am Kelli Buffington, the Location Coordinator at Warner Robins B. Monroe Salon. I have a huge passion for the hair industry that shines through in anything I put my mind too. I am dedicated to fostering confidence and communication skills in my team. As a salon manager, I thrive on helping people realize and reach their full potential, whether it’s through an empowering conversation or empowering my team to be self starters. Being a stylist allows me to be creative with my skills and sense of style. I love how this industry brings something new everyday. Not only is it rewarding to see my guests happy with their hairstyle, but it is so awesome to see them light up on the inside as well!

I love thinking of hair as a blank canvas to paint on. It’s my little masterpiece that I get to bring to life. I also like cutting because you get to create how the hair frames the face and what it looks like with color. What I love about being at B. Monroe is looking around and watching tons and tons of coloring and cutting. I can take a sneak peak at so many different projects every day.

My favorite part of this industry is being able to make people feel beautiful and giving them the perfect hair they want.

“Since I was little this has been a dream of mine, playing in my grandmother’s salon. I love helping people be able to look in the mirror and love what they see. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. My goal is always to always help them meet their goal!”

I love being a stylist because I am touching more than hair: if you can make a person feel better about how they look, you can change their life. Being at B. Monroe is special because we help each other with everything. Nobody is left alone in anything, big or small!

Being able to make someone leave my chair with the most confidence is always my goal. But being able to do that while forming connections is why I love doing this. My client could come in and have the absolute worst day, could be going through a lot, and I want to be able to get them to escape it while they sit in my chair. I love being an outlet for my clients, a safe space. If they want to talk about it or not, I want to be there for them always, especially while making them feel beautiful and confident.

Being a hair stylist is what I dreamed about as a little girl. I love what I do because I love to make people feel beautiful. I love building relationships with people from all walks of life. I am surrounded by other passionate and talented hair stylists who share the same values. We are like one big family at B. Monroe!

I’ve always had a love for the beauty industry. My dream is to one day be a stylist so getting to work here and see clients leave happy with their hair, all while learning more about the industry, has been amazing.

I love the connection with each person that sits in my chair and trusts me to enhance their natural God-given beauty. It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to work so closely with so many different individuals. I’m thankful for each story shared with me, good or bad, and the bond created between a guest and stylist. I appreciate the new education and challenges of my craft that I face daily, from blondes or brunettes, to extensions, to bridal updos. Most of all, I love the joy on a client’s face when they leave loving their new look! I’m obsessed with my job and so very blessed to be able to do what I love every day!

The thing I enjoy most of all about what I do is working with extensions. I have a lot of clients with thin or thinning hair like myself, and there’s no better feeling than seeing the smile on their face from the confidence a thick, full head of hair will give them!
