Continuing education is of the utmost importance here at Signature. We know that the reason our industry is so awesome is because it is constantly evolving and there are always new things to learn! Education courses in salon and out are vital to staying fresh and being able to give our guests the very best experience each time they come visit us. Recently, our Signature Stylists attended the Redken Hair Color Authority four day course which we hosted at our Bass Road Location! Along with other talented stylists from all over the Southeast, our stylists were taught advanced hair color skills by Top Tier Redken Artists. We were honored to have Danny Dubose, Jillian Wise, Alma Richardson, Noah Woerle, and Kyong Wells teaching the course over two weekends. Each one of these Redken Artists were enthusiastic and dedicated to giving back to our stylists!
The Redken Haircolor Authority Program is an advanced Redken course designed to advance stylists’ knowledge and increase their skill in the discipline of haircolor. This kind of hands-on experience with the industry’s latest haircolor trends is so beneficial in staying on the cutting edge of techniques and best practices to achieve awesome styles and healthy hair for our guests. Our stylists had a blast expanding on their knowledge of Redken haircolor and are excited to be Authorities in the business!
When asked about her experience during the two weekends, Signature Stylist Prescillanna said that the best thing she learned from the Artists was “to do everything with intention and don’t be afraid to play around with different color lines and shades.” Mary also really enjoyed “the way Noah explained the science behind everything. How and why the hair does and doesn’t respond” to certain formulas.
We are so thankful for the opportunity to have so many awesome stylists at Signature for such an important learning experience, and we are thrilled to be even more knowledgeable to take better care of our guests!
